Tribute to Chizoba Owoh
Five years ago, in Houston, our paths crossed, and it felt like fate. Your tenacity, vibrant energy, and commitment to living fully drew me in immediately. You had this rare gift, an ability to inspire without even trying, to make people feel seen, valued, and capable. Your practicality was refreshing, continually cutting through the noise with wisdom, always leading by example.
Hearing of your passing has left me at a loss. It doesn’t seem fair that your time here was too short, or that I texted you on Mother’s Day and never got that inspirational, fiery response I had become accustomed to. As I lay still poring through every word of wisdom and love you always conveyed from our message chats, I thank God for the privilege of knowing you.
What brings me comfort is knowing that your impact will live on. The lives you touched, the lessons you shared, and the love you poured into the world will carry forward. God knows best, and we trust in him.
I pray your soul rests in peace, and I ask the Holy Spirit to embrace your family and loved ones, bringing them solace in this time of grief. You are deeply missed, Chizoba, and will never be forgotten.
Rest well, dear friend.
Chinyere.
