To the Owoh and Atuanya family

in Tributes

It feels ever so surreal having to write this tribute about my eldest paternal first cousin.

Over the years, I have heard stories from my older siblings about how youthful and playful Aunty Chizo always was – to the extent that I never really made a mental note that there was a 20 year age gap between us, so getting the call to learn of her passing was one that truly shocked me, my siblings, and our mother to the core.

We are truly heartbroken that she has been taken away so young, and saddened by the fact all her ‘boys’ have to go through the pain of laying her to rest. But we know – God knows best, and only HE knows why. We are praying to God to give you all the strength and understanding during this incredibly difficult and painful time. May you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories you shared.

Aunty Chizo, I’ve been learning so much about you since you went to rest with our dear Lord. I am inspired by your courage, the dedication to your dear children and husband, and the positive impact you had on the lives of so many. May you Rest In Eternal Peace, dear cousin. God will look after everyone for you. God bless!

Lots of love, Kene Iwugo
