My Mother’s Tribute
When I was in my early teens, I would help my mom put up the Christmas tree and hang the lights. The tree sat like that until Christmas Eve. After we went to bed on Christmas Eve, my mom would put out the gifts and decorate the tree. She and I will talk about her tree decorations and childhood stories. The house was full of delicious smells from her cooking and for all our family for Christmas Eve dinner. Everyone was there and everyone had a wonderful time.
I know that my mom made a lot of sacrifices because she loved us no matter what, and I stand by her always. Even when hard times come and go, our love for each other never fades. Today, I celebrate your resilience, strength, and the unbreakable bond we share.
With Love,
Your First Son,
