Funeral Tribute to sister Chizoba
Thank you for the opportunity to honor and remember the life of an incredible woman—my sister-in-law, Chizoba.
Sister Chizoba was more than family to me. In fact, she was part of me from the very beginning. I was named after her when I was born, a gesture that now feels like a deep and enduring bond that tied our lives together in a special way. Sharing her name has always been a quiet source of pride for me, and today, it is also a profound source of sorrow.
Sister Chizoba was grace personified—gentle yet strong, kind yet firm in her convictions, always present, always caring. She had this incredible ability to make everyone around her feel valued, seen, and loved. Her laughter was soft but memorable, and her words—whether comforting or wise—always seemed to come at the right time. She never tried to be the center of attention, yet her presence filled the room in the most beautiful way.
She gave so much of herself to those she loved, never expecting anything in return. Her love was steady, her loyalty unwavering. Sister Chizoba’s legacy is not just in the memories we hold, but in the way she touched each of our lives—with dignity, warmth, and compassion.
While her absence feels unbearable right now, I know her spirit lives on—in the lives she nurtured, in the hearts she lifted, and in the love she gave so freely. And every time I hear my name, I will be reminded of the woman I had the honor of being named after. I will carry her with me, always.
Rest peacefully, dear big Sis. You were—and always will be—deeply loved.
