Dear Big Cousin Chizo and the Owoh and Eric-Atuanya families

in Tributes

I remember going to visit my Big Cousin in 2016, as I was in Atlanta for a wedding at the time. I was a bit nervous as I didn’t think we’d met for a long while. My sister Chini encouraged me to go. She said how lovely she was.

I’m so glad I made the trip; we spent hours and hours talking and playing with the handsome Rocky! I also got to meet my nephews.

Big Cousin Chizo even drove me all the way back to my hotel in the middle of ATL at her insistence. From this and the many WhatsApp chats we shared over the years showing warmth, love and generosity is how I’ll remember her. “Baby Cuz” she would call me. She always asked how my family were especially “little Prof” as she called my son.

She would send pics of Rocky living his best life and of course Sophie also living the dream.

It was delightful to have met, chatted and danced together in November 2023 when my sisters, “little Prof” and I visited Houston. Forever grateful for the memories.

Till we dance again rest in perfect peace and in loving arms of our almighty God.

Lots of love your Baby Cuz (Moni).xxxx
