A Tribute to Chizoba
Chizoba
Our beloved Chizo.
Life, in its mysterious journey, often beautifies the soul in the moments it calls us to the other side. And in your transition, you revealed just how radiant a soul can be.
You refined the very meaning of “Ada”—the first daughter by embodying everything noble you drew from your mother. You didn’t just carry her name; you carried her dreams. You lived her memories, not merely as stories, but as purpose and legacy. In doing so, you became a continuation of her light.
Your race on this earth was marked by a striking transparency of heart; honest, upright, and grounded in love. You stood tall, not in stature alone, but in spirit, in principle, and in goodwill. Fairness wasn’t a philosophy for you; it was how you breathed. Inclusion wasn’t a goal, it was your natural way of being.
The days of Ogba still ring in our memories. You were that beautiful young lady, gentle, soft-spoken, but quietly building the foundations of a meaningful life. Those days, though brief in the grand clock of time, tell volumes about the woman you were becoming. A woman of grace. A woman of strength.
In the few times we spoke, one thing stood out: your unwavering devotion to your family. You spoke of them with joy, tenderness, and pride. You saw life not as something to conquer, but as something to enrich, with love, with kindness, with meaning.
Your passing was sudden, and it caught us unaware. But even in that suddenness, you left behind a trail of beautiful lines; lines of memory, of kindness, of legacy. They mirror the woman you were, and they will live on in your family, your loved ones, and all of us privileged to know you.
We may find ourselves saying, “I wish I had done this or said that,” but time does not wait for perfect farewells. What we have are the moments you gave us, and we will hold them dearly, until that day when eternity unveils its fullness, as promised by the Word of God.
Rest well, Chizoba.
You journeyed with grace. You lived with meaning. And now, you live on; in spirit, in memory, and in love.
