Meeting You Was Fate, Becoming Your Husband Was a Choice, But Falling in Love with You Was Beyond My Control
Meeting you was fate, becoming your husband was a choice, but falling in Love with you was beyond my control on that sunny day in 1980.
They say there’s a reason, they say that time will heal, but neither time nor reason will change the way I feel.
Of all the special gifts in my life, however great or small, to have you as my wife was the greatest gift of all.
Chizo, you were a woman of immense kindness and compassion which I noticed a few weeks after we met in the eighties, I will forever remember your gentle heart and unwavering support as we navigated through life as young adults.
You had a way of making even the most challenging times feel light and joyful.
Your laugh and cheerfulness were contagious, and your spirit brightened every room you entered.
Your love for me was unconditional and your presence in my life was a constant source of strength and happiness over the past forty-five years.
The endless love and fondness you had for our boys was immense. All the hard work, perseverance and sacrifice that you invested in raising our boys. I am grateful for every moment we shared, and I will forever cherish the memories of our Love.
Though you may be gone, your spirit will live on in our hearts, and your legacy of love and kindness will inspire us to live a life filled with Love and Kindness.
If roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bouquet for me, place them in my wife’s hands and tell her they are from me. Tell her that I love and miss her. Thank you!!
Sleep well Adaosodi-wawa.
